Lesser Prophets (1997)

Plot: The police have three bookies under surveillance, but they escape and set up shop elsewhere. By chance, one of the police finds them; instead of turning them in, he demands money that his brother, now a suicide, had lost to them. An odd guy named Leon, not entirely compus mentus, knows one of the bookies, brings them a tip on a sure thing, and they bet the farm. Meanwhile, Leon has befriended a kid in the next apartment whose mom is abused by her husband, who himself is carrying on some mysterious thievery. The cop, the bookies, the thief, his wife, and Leon’s mistakes and good heart all come together in an ending with murder and money.

Wilayaat - Imam Ali (a.s.) , a logical question to his rightfull cilaphat?
I am asking this question to achieve unity between us muslims. There hare hundreds of hadiths showing that Imam Ali (a.s.) should have been the calipah as chosen by Allah, and also the holy Quran contains explicit proofs. I will mention them, however i first want to make a logical point.
During the time of the holy Prophet Muhammed (s.a.w.) , when there were battles, he always use to appoint a leader for the battle. Without a leader in a battle, the battle won’t have structure. You need a leader for a battle. Just put this point in your mind.
Ok, so we follow hadith when the companions of our beloved prophet peace be on him and his ahlulbayt, come form battle. The holy prophet tells them ‘ you have come from jihad al asgar, now jihadul akbar awaits i.e fighting against ones own desires’.(not word for word) This means, they came from the lesser war, fighting ofr justice with others, now they had to fight the greater war, that was between their own desires.
So, what is greater, fighting against an army, or yourself.
The fact is acknowledged by every school of thought in Islam.
Now, if the holy prophet (pbuh) NEEDS to appoint a leader for an army in LESSER WAR. What do you mean when you say he does not need to appoint leader FOR A GREATER WAR.
And what is a greater weapon against ones own desires than ISLAM. And what a greater leader of the Ummah after the holy prophet than Ali ibn abu Talib?
That is why in Bukhari, and many sunni sources, it says ‘
"mankumtum mawla, fahazha ali-un mawla"
"womsoevers master i am, Ali is also his master.
Then this verse was sent down ; " This day i have perfected your religion for you, completed my favour upon you, and chosen for you Islam as your religion"(5:3)
There are countless hadiths stating this is when the verse came out. It was also one of the holy prophets last few sermons.
I would like some feedback. What do other schools of thought think? To any non-muslims if you are confused go on my page in a week or two, i’l have things on there about the whole issue:)

Actually, Karbala IS WHAT SAVED ISLAM. Yazid lanatulah, was the one that mercilesly killed the holy prophets grandson and his compansions and family members on the day of kerbala. Had it not been from Imam Hussain (a.s.) Islam would have not survived. It was the will of Allah that kerbala happend, so Islam could be saved
"There is no proof of Imammat in the Quran"
Infact, there is ample proof of Imamat in the holy Quran. The holy prophet pbuh, at ghadeer was given this revelation by angel Jibraeel(Gabriel) a.s. ;
" O messenger, deliver what has been revealed to you by your lord; and if you do not do it, then you have not deliverd his message"
What message was it that he urgently needed to deliver? Shortly after the holy prophet said a sermon , and in that sermon after he said ;
"have i not got more authority over you than yourselves, then whoomsoevers mawla i am, Ali is also his mawla"
Then this verse was revealed;
"This day i have perfected your religion for you, completed my favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion"
"(5:3) Was revealed on the day 9th dhul hijah of 10 AH"
Actually, in the 9th of Dhul Hijha the holy prophet was in the middle of teaching the rituals of Hajj to the believers. If it was this day…why was islam perfected when he still needed to finish teaching the rituals?

This is wrong again. Shia is an arabic term used to mean ‘ follower ‘. It is commonly used to refer to the followers of Ali(a.s.).
And Ali(a.s.) was the closest to the prophet(pbuh) and was announced as the leader of the Ummah by the holy Prophet. Whatever the holy prophet pbuh said came from Allah(s.w.t.) or were based on his comands.
"The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) chose his Khalifa. Allah did not choose a man who had bad judgement to deliver his message to the world. If Rasoolullah (SAW) chose Abu Bakr (AS) as his first Khalifa then that was that."
Exactly. And who did the prophet choose? Here are ample sunni references for proof. "Whomsoever’s master i am, Ali is also his master"

Alright, let me ask you a few questions. A muslim women cannot marry a non muslim man. So why did Hazrat Abu Talibs wife re-marry him?
Also had it not been for Hazrat Abu Talib, who gave tremendous surport to the holy prophet (pbuh) during the dangerous times, islam would not have spread. Would someone who gives all his surport to the holy prophet, gives his life , be a kaffir?
I have answerd every single one of Sonja’s points. Can she tell me why there are abdundant hadith of Ghadeer? It is in your own sources, sister in Islam.
Lets also both, on our sides, be humble and kind to one another.

I know. Not one true Shia of The holy prophet and Imam Ali, and slave of Allah believes that. Islam is doing everything for the sake of Allah and adhering to his commands.

As an answer, you have probably not read the many hadiths in sunni sources, and shia sources refering to Ghadeer. Here is the line ‘

Wait- would the holy prophet stop thousands of people in the heat to say, oh , so whoever is my friend, is also Ali’s friend?
