IMDB rating: 6.40 Plot: A virus similar to Ebola & Lassa is discovered in Africa in 1969. 25 years later, it resurfaces - and Col. Sam Daniels of the U.S. Army is sent in to investigate it. When he returns he warns his boss, Brigadier-Gen. Ford, of the lethal nature of the virus and wants to put out an alert. Ford, who had been one of the men who first dealt with the virus, insists the virus is contained and unlikely to show up in the U.S. What neither man knows is that the host - a monkey - has been brought into the U.S. by freighter. Through an under-the-table bribe, a young man gets the monkey out of the animal-testing lab it was bound for. Soon, the man is infected - and Col. Daniels’ ex-wife, Dr. Keough - now with the CDC - is called into Boston when the young man is brought to a hospital in critical condition. Dr. Keough discovers that the man has died from the virus, and at the same time - on the other side of the country - a new outbreak is starting in a little California town. A quarantine is set up to stop the virus from spreading, while Ford’s boss, the sinister Major-Gen. McClintock, has his own agenda in mind - to harness this lethal bug for use as a bioweapon. With the President about to order a fuel-air bomb to be dropped on the little town to stop the outbreak, Daniels must find a way to unravel McClintock’s sinister plan… |

Reoccurring Hives outbreak!? (please help)?
My friend came down with hives last night and it spread to mainly the whole right side of her body.
It has occurred again, and we really would like a remedy for them that is simple and fast. We dont have any vitamine E or anything here, so anything simple would be greatly appreciated. This is the second night that this has happened, any reasons as to why this is happening?
It could be the laundry detergent shes using.. has she changed it recently?? Or is she under any new stress??

Hives typically occur in response to an allergy. In other words, something she is probably allergic to something she has come into contact with. To remedy this, she should take benadryl by mouth. Benadryl will cause drowsiness (be careful if she is driving or working during the day). Also, if she itches, you can apply hydrocortisone cream to the hives. Hydrocortisone is available over the counter. If her chest starts to feel tight or she has trouble breathing, this is a dangerous allergic reaction and she will need to be rushed to the emergency room.

.. any allergic reaction can be life threatening. she needs to take some benedryl (diphenhydramine) and drink lots of H2o. the fact that it is so large and oddly one sided, she should go to a doctor asap. does the rash itch or burn? is it hot to touch? did she eat something that she may be allergic to such as nuts, wheat, corn, chocolate, dairy, soy, etc.? new detergents, soaps, lotions, oils, etc., ANY medications? food dye or coloring, artificial flavors? new perfume, candles, airfresheners, sprays, etc?? new cleaners? Latex? the list is endless but i would look back to few hours prior to rash and see what has been ingested or exposed to. good luck. take a shower.do not use soap or lotion.
